ABSTRAK
Perkembangan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dan kecerdasan buatan mendorong pengembangan sistem deteksi manusia yang lebih responsif dan akurat untuk kebutuhan monitoring berbasis visi komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan algoritma YOLOv8 untuk deteksi manusia menggunakan ESP32-CAM yang terintegrasi dengan notifikasi Telegram secara real-time. Metode yang digunakan meliputi akuisisi citra melalui ESP32-CAM, pengiriman data menggunakan protokol HTTP ke server berbasis Python, proses inferensi menggunakan YOLOv8, serta identifikasi wajah dengan face recognition untuk membedakan known dan unknown person. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan menggunakan confusion matrix dengan parameter precision, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan nilai precision sebesar 92%, recall sebesar 94%, dan F1-score sebesar 93%, yang menunjukkan kinerja deteksi yang akurat dan seimbang antara ketepatan serta kelengkapan deteksi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem mampu mendeteksi keberadaan manusia secara efektif dan mengirimkan notifikasi secara real-time. Sistem ini berpotensi diterapkan sebagai solusi monitoring berbasis IoT yang efisien, terjangkau, dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk aplikasi smart surveillance.

ABSTRACT
The rapid advancement of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies has driven the development of more responsive and accurate human detection systems for computer vision–based monitoring applications. This study aims to implement the YOLOv8 algorithm for human detection using ESP32-CAM integrated with real-time Telegram notifications. The proposed method involves image acquisition through ESP32-CAM, data transmission via HTTP protocol to a Python-based server, object detection using YOLOv8 inference, and face recognition to distinguish between known and unknown individuals. System performance was evaluated using confusion matrix metrics, including precision, recall, and F1-score. Experimental results show that the system achieved a precision of 92%, recall of 94%, and F1-score of 93%, indicating high detection accuracy and a balanced performance between detection correctness and completeness. Based on these findings, the system is capable of effectively detecting human presence and delivering real-time notifications. This system has strong potential for implementation as an efficient and affordable IoT-based monitoring solution and can be further developed for smart surveillance applications.
