ABSTRAK

Blockchain Solana menghadapi tantangan serius berupa serangan drain wallet yang menguras aset digital pengguna secara ilegal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pola transaksi drain wallet serta mengevaluasi keamanan implementasi algoritma tanda tangan digital Ed25519 pada Phantom Wallet terhadap serangan replay attack, nonce reuse, dan signature malleability. Metode penelitian menggunakan Kuantitatif dengan menggabungkan pendekatan analisis forensik data transaksi publik dari beberapa kasus drain wallet dengan serangkaian eksperimen pengujian keamanan pada jaringan devnet Solana. Analisis pola transaksi menggunakan teknik statistik dan visualisasi graf, sedangkan pengujian keamanan dilakukan dengan simulasi beragam vektor serangan pada Phantom Wallet. Hasil penelitian mengungkap pola transaksi star- burst, yaitu pengumpulan dana cepat dari banyak korban ke alamat sentral, diikuti oleh konsolidasi aset yang masif dan diversitas aset yang dicuri. Implementasi Ed25519 terbukti efektif mencegah replay attack dan signature malleability dengan tingkat penolakan transaksi manipulasi hampir 100%. Investigasi nonce reuse menemukan anomali pada kondisi eksperimen bit-flip dimana ada 260 nonce yang sama tetapi dengan message yang sama juga, namun data transaksi nyata tidak menunjukkan insiden nonce reuse yang membahayakan. Kesimpulannya, ancaman utama drain wallet di Solana lebih disebabkan oleh kelemahan pada lapisan aplikasi dan perilaku pengguna daripada kerentanan protokol kriptografi Ed25519.

ABSTRAK

The Solana blockchain faces a serious challenge in the form of drain wallet attacks that illegally drain users' digital assets. This study aims to analyze drain wallet transaction patterns and evaluate the security of the Ed25519 digital signature algorithm implementation in Phantom Wallet against replay attacks, nonce reuse, and signature malleability. The research method employs a quantitative approach, combining forensic analysis of public transaction data from several drain wallet cases with a series of security testing experiments on the Solana devnet network. Transaction pattern analysis utilizes statistical techniques and graph visualization, while security testing is conducted through simulations of various attack vectors on the Phantom Wallet. The research results revealed a star-burst transaction pattern, where funds are quickly collected from many victims to a central address, followed by massive asset consolidation and diversity of stolen assets. The implementation of Ed25519 proved effective in preventing replay attacks and signature malleability, with a transaction rejection rate of nearly 100% for manipulated transactions. The nonce reuse investigation identified anomalies under specific experimental conditions, but real-world transaction data did not show any harmful nonce reuse incidents. In conclusion, the primary threat to drain wallets on Solana stems more from weaknesses in the application layer and user behavior than from vulnerabilities in the Ed25519 cryptographic protocol.
