ABSTRAK

Kotak amal masjid merupakan sarana penting dalam pengumpulan dana untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional dan sosial keagamaan. Namun, kasus pencurian kotak amal masih sering terjadi akibat lemahnya sistem pengamanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem keamanan kotak amal berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) dengan kunci autentikasi menggunakan face recognition. Sistem ini menggunakan ESP32-CAM untuk mendeteksi wajah berdasarkan data yang tersimpan pada kartu SD. Jika wajah dikenali, ESP32-CAM mengirimkan perintah unlock melalui komunikasi MQTT kepada broker. Perintah ini kemudian diterima oleh ESP32, yang berfungsi sebagai subscriber, untuk mengaktifkan solenoid door lock dan buzzer. Selanjutnya, ESP32 mengirimkan notifikasi secara langsung ke Telegram sebagai laporan bahwa autentikasi berhasil. Penelitian ini mencakup tahapan pembuatan alat, pengambilan data wajah, pengujian autentikasi, serta pengukuran waktu autentikasi dan pengiriman notifikasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dari 100 percobaan, sistem berhasil mengenali seluruh wajah yang terdaftar dengan tingkat keberhasilan autentikasi sebesar 100%. Rata-rata waktu autentikasi wajah adalah 4,3 detik, dan waktu pengiriman notifikasi sebesar 1,85 detik.

ABSTRACT

The mosque donation box plays an important role in collecting funds to support operational and religious social activities. However, donation boxes remain vulnerable to theft due to inadequate security systems. This research aims to design and develop a donation box security system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using face recognition authentication. The system uses an ESP32-CAM to detect faces based on data stored on an SD card. When a registered face is successfully recognized, the ESP32-CAM sends an unlock command via MQTT to the broker. This message is received by an ESP32 board acting as a subscriber, which then activates the solenoid door lock and buzzer. The ESP32 also sends a real-time notification to Telegram to report successful authentication. The research includes device construction, face data collection, authentication testing, and measurement of authentication time and notification delay. Test results show that out of 100 trials, the system successfully recognized all registered faces, resulting in an authentication success rate of 100%. The average authentication time was 4.3 seconds, and the notification delivery time was 1.85 seconds.
