ABSTRAK

Keamanan dalam usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) kuliner, seperti JFC, sangat penting untuk mencegah bahaya, terutama akibat kebocoran gas LPG. Kebocoran gas yang tidak terdeteksi dapat menyebabkan kebakaran, ledakan, hingga keracunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem alarm kebocoran gas berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan Wemos D1 Mini dan sensor MQ-2. Sistem ini dapat mendeteksi gas berbahaya seperti LPG, metana, dan asap, serta mengirimkan notifikasi real-time melalui aplikasi Blynk dan bot Telegram. Dengan menggunakan teknologi IoT, sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan jarak jauh dan respons cepat terhadap kebocoran gas, meskipun pemilik usaha berada di luar lokasi. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dengan simulasi berbagai konsentrasi gas untuk mengevaluasi akurasi dan kecepatan respons sistem serta keandalan pengiriman notifikasi.

ABSTRACT

Security in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), especially in the culinary sector like JFC, is crucial to prevent hazards, particularly from LPG gas leaks. Undetected gas leaks can lead to fires, explosions, and poisoning. This study aims to design and develop a gas leakage alarm system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using Wemos D1 Mini and MQ-2 sensor. This system can detect hazardous gases such as LPG, methane, and smoke, and send real-time notifications through the Blynk application and Telegram bot. By utilizing IoT technology, this system enables remote monitoring and a quick response to gas leaks, even when the business owner is off-site. The system was tested by simulating various gas concentrations to evaluate the accuracy and speed of the system's response and the reliability of notification delivery.
