ABSTRACT

Bogor City and Regency are regions with a high vulnerability to landslides due to a combination of geological, topographical, rainfall, and land use factors. This study aims to map landslide potential geospatially using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The data used include slope, rainfall, soil type, rock type, and land cover, sourced from official platforms such as BIG, CHIRPS, FAO, and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The method applied is a scoring-based overlay, where each parameter is classified and assigned a score and weight based on its contribution to landslide susceptibility. The data processing involved mosaicking, coordinate projection, study area clipping, spatial analysis, and data intersection. The final result is a landslide susceptibility map categorizing the region into low, medium, high, and very high risk areas. The high to very high-risk zones are predominantly located in the southern part of Bogor Regency. This map can serve as a valuable reference for disaster mitigation policy and regional spatial planning.
