ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem reservasi event hotel berbasis web yang diterapkan di House Sangkuriang Bandung, guna mengatasi kendala dalam proses reservasi manual yang selama ini dilakukan melalui telepon dan email. Permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain keterlambatan konfirmasi pemesanan, kesalahan pencatatan informasi, serta tidak tersedianya informasi ketersediaan ruang secara real-time. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, sistem ini dirancang dengan menerapkan metode Weight Product (WP) sebagai bagian dari sistem pendukung keputusan dalam menentukan prioritas pemesanan berdasarkan kriteria seperti estimasi pendapatan, waktu pemesanan, dan loyalitas pelanggan. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Agile dengan pendekatan bertahap dan fleksibel sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan framework Laravel dan database MySQL. Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode Black box Testing dan User Acceptance Test (UAT). Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses reservasi event. Sistem ini mempercepat proses reservasi, menata alur pemesanan secara sistematis, dan meminimalisasi bentrok jadwal. Hasil pengujian UAT menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan sebesar 88,0%, menandakan sistem diterima dengan baik. Fitur penjadwalan dengan metode Weight Product membantu menentukan prioritas pemesanan secara objektif, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to develop a web-based hotel event reservation system implemented at House Sangkuriang Bandung to address the challenges of the manual reservation process previously conducted via phone and email. The main issues encountered include delayed booking confirmations, information recording errors, and the lack of real-time room availability information. To overcome these problems, the system is designed by applying the Weight Product (WP) method as part of a decision support system to determine booking priority based on criteria such as estimated revenue, booking time, and customer loyalty. The system development was carried out using the Agile method, allowing for a flexible and incremental approach based on user needs. The system was built using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT). The results show that the system functions according to user requirements and improves the efficiency of the event reservation process. The system accelerates reservations, organizes the booking flow systematically, and minimizes schedule conflicts. UAT results show an acceptance rate of 88.0%, indicating the system is well-received. The scheduling feature using the Weight Product method helps objectively determine booking priorities, thereby enhancing efficiency and service quality.
