PERANCANGAN ANIMASI 2D SEBAGAI MEDIA KAMPANYE KESADARAN ANAK TENTANG PENCEGAHAN PENYAKIT GINJAL DI KOTA BANDUNG

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kasus penyakit ginjal pada anak di Kota Bandung yang menyebabkan tingginya kebutuhan akan edukasi pencegahan sejak dini. Penyakit ginjal, terutama ginjal kronis, mengalami peningkatan prevalensi dari 2% pada tahun 2013 menjadi 3,8% pada tahun 2018. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merancang animasi 2D sebagai media kampanye sosial untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman anak-anak usia sekolah mengenai fungsi ginjal, jenis penyakit ginjal, serta langkah-langkah pencegahannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur untuk memperoleh data yang lebih akurat. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan kampanye sosial berbasis animasi yang memanfaatkan media digital dan konvensional sebagai sarana penyampaian pesan. Melalui pendekatan visual yang interaktif dan menarik, kampanye ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kesadaran, meningkatkan pemahaman, dan mendorong perilaku preventif anak-anak terhadap penyakit ginjal di Kota Bandung.

ABSTRACT

This reseArch is motivated by the increasing number of kidney disease cases in children in Bandung City, which necessitates a high need for early prevention education. Kidney disease, especially chronic kidney disease, has experienced an increase in prevalence from 2% in 2013 to 3.8% in 2018. Therefore, this study designs 2D animation as a social campaign medium to raise awareness and understanding among school-aged children about kidney function, types of kidney disease, and prevention methods. The reseArch methods used include observation, interviews, and literature review to obtain more accurate data. The results of the reseArch are in the form of an animation-based social campaign design that utilizes both digital and conventional media as a means of delivering the message. Through an interactive and Appealing visual approach, this campaign is expected to foster awareness, improve understanding, and encourage preventive behavior among children regarding kidney disease in Bandung City
