IMPLEMENTASI GITOPS UNTUK AUTOMASI DEPLOYMENT APLIKASI BERBASIS DOCKER CONTAINER (STUDI KASUS DI PT ICT)
ABSTRAK
Pengembangan perangkat lunak modern menuntut proses Continuous Integration dan Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) yang efisien, konsisten, dan aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan GitOps berbasis GitHub Actions, Docker, dan Komodo Stack sebagai solusi automasi deployment aplikasi berbasis container di PT ICT.
Metode penelitian mencakup konfigurasi GitHub Organization, pengelolaan Secrets dan variables, serta pembuatan pipeline otomatis untuk secret scanning, vulnerability scanning, dan distribusi Docker Image ke Docker Hub. Komodo Stack digunakan sebagai Platform GitOps dalam mengelola layanan lintas lingkungan (development, staging, production) dengan dukungan monitoring dan sinkronisasi terpusat.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem mampu mendeteksi bug serta kerentanan lebih dini, mempercepat proses deployment, dan meminimalkan kesalahan manual. Monitoring pada tiga repositori (frontend dan backend) membuktikan pipeline berjalan responsif, meskipun terdapat job dengan tingkat kegagalan tinggi yang justru mengindikasikan efektivitas early failure detection.
Kesimpulannya, pendekatan ini mempercepat siklus pengembangan, meningkatkan keamanan, serta mendorong praktik yang terotomatisasi dan terstandarisasi. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi penerapan infrastruktur CI/CD berbasis GitOps pada pengembangan perangkat lunak modern.

ABSTRACT
Modern software development requires efficient, consistent, and secure Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. This research implements GitOps using GitHub Actions, Docker, and the Komodo Stack to automate container-based application deployment at PT ICT.
The methodology includes configuring GitHub Organizations, managing Secrets and variables, and building automated pipelines for secret scanning, vulnerability scanning, and pushing Docker Images to Docker Hub. Komodo Stack serves as the GitOps Platform to manage services across development, staging, and production environments, supporting centralized monitoring and synchronization.
The results demonstrate that the system can detect bugs and vulnerabilities early, accelerate deployment, and minimize manual errors. Pipeline monitoring across three repositories (frontend and backend) shows efficient and responsive execution, with some high-failure-rate jobs indicating effective early failure detection.
In conclusion, this approach accelerates the development cycle, enhances security, and promotes automated and standardized practices. The findings can serve as a reference for implementing GitOps-based CI/CD infrastructure in modern software development environments.
