ABSTRAK

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong pertumbuhan pesat dalam industri e-commerce, yang menuntut adanya layanan pelanggan yang cepat, akurat, dan efisien. Salah satu tantangan utama dalam layanan pelanggan adalah tingginya volume pertanyaan yang bersifat berulang, sehingga membebani tim Customer Service (CS) dan mengurangi efisiensi kerja. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan solusi otomatis yang dapat merespons pertanyaan pelanggan secara mandiri.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem Automated Customer Service berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) dengan integrasi teknologi Natural Language Processing (NLP). Sistem ini diterapkan dalam bentuk fitur Live Chat AI pada website e-commerce berbasis Laravel yang dikembangkan oleh PT Solusi Digital Industri. Chatbot AI dirancang untuk memahami pertanyaan pengguna dan memberikan jawaban yang sesuai secara otomatis, sehingga dapat mengurangi beban CS dan meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, wawancara, pengumpulan data, perancangan sistem, serta implementasi dan evaluasi. Sistem dibangun dengan menggunakan framework Laravel untuk pengelolaan website dan Flask sebagai modul backend chatbot AI. Dengan pendekatan ini, diharapkan sistem dapat memberikan layanan pelanggan yang lebih responsif, efisien, dan mendukung operasional e-commerce secara optimal.

ABSTRACT

The advancement of digital technology has significantly accelerated the growth of the e-commerce industry, demanding fast, accurate, and efficient customer service. One of the major challenges in customer service is the high volume of repetitive inquiries, which burdens the Customer Service (CS) team and reduces operational efficiency. To address this issue, an automated solution is needed that can independently respond to customer queries.

This research aims to design and develop an Automated Customer Service system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), integrated with Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology. The system is implemented as a Live Chat AI feature on a Laravel-based e-commerce website developed by PT Solusi Digital Industri. The chatbot AI is designed to understand user questions and provide appropriate responses automatically, reducing the workload of CS personnel and enhancing the user experience.

The research methods include literature study, interviews, data collection, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The system is built using the Laravel framework for website management and Flask as the backend module for the AI chatbot. This approach is expected to deliver more responsive, efficient customer service and support the operational needs of modern e-commerce platforms.
