ABSTRAK

Berdasarkan data Open Data Jabar tahun 2024, jumlah kendaraan di Kota Bandung telah melampaui satu juta unit. Kondisi ini meningkatkan kebutuhan lahan parkir, termasuk di lingkungan perkantoran. Salah satu kendala utama adalah sulitnya pengendara mengetahui ketersediaan slot parkir sebelum tiba di lokasi. Di PT. Artristik Studio Bandung, pemantauan masih dilakukan secara manual oleh petugas, sehingga informasi hanya bisa diketahui di tempat. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini merancang sistem parkir berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan sensor ultrasonik dan mikrokontroler ESP32. Data hasil deteksi dikirim melalui protokol HTTPS ke server untuk disimpan secara periodik dan ditampilkan melalui antarmuka web. Informasi ketersediaan parkir ini dapat diakses oleh pegawai maupun tamu melalui tautan web yang dibagikan perusahaan melalui saluran komunikasi digital.

Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi keberadaan kendaraan dengan akurat menggunakan parameter threshold jarak di bawah 150 cm dan minimal 10 data deteksi valid untuk memastikan slot parkir dianggap terisi. Sistem juga dapat menampilkan informasi ketersediaan slot parkir secara real-time, menghitung durasi parkir, menampilkan rata-rata jarak kendaraan, serta menghasilkan laporan berkala. Selain itu, sistem menunjukkan latensi rata-rata sebesar 1 ms, meskipun tetap dipengaruhi oleh kondisi jaringan internet. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu pengendara menemukan slot parkir kosong dengan lebih mudah sekaligus mendukung pengelolaan lahan parkir perusahaan.

ABSTRACT

Based on the 2024 Open Data Jabar, the number of vehicles in Bandung City has exceeded one million units. This condition increases the demand for parking spaces, including in office environments. One of the main challenges is that drivers often find it difficult to know the availability of parking slots before arriving at the location. At PT. Artristik Studio Bandung, monitoring is still carried out manually by staff, so information can only be obtained on-site. To address this issue, this study designs an Internet of Things (IoT)-based parking system using ultrasonic sensors and an ESP32 microcontroller. Detection data is transmitted via the HTTPS protocol to a server, stored periodically, and displayed through a web interface. Parking availability information can be accessed by employees and guests through a web link shared by the company via digital communication channels.

The test results show that the system can accurately detect vehicle presence using a distance threshold below 150 cm and at least 10 valid detection data points to confirm that a parking slot is occupied. The system can also display real-time slot availability, calculate parking duration, present the average vehicle distance, and generate periodic reports. In addition, the system demonstrates an average latency of 1 ms, although it remains influenced by internet network conditions. Therefore, this system is expected to help drivers more easily find available parking slots while also supporting the company’s parking lot management.
