PERANCANGAN BUKU KOMIK KAMPANYE GERAKAN DISIPLIN NASIONAL DI LINGKUNGAN SMA

ABSTRACT
The condition of students at the upper secondary level, especially in terms of civil enforcement, is generally very worrying. Many disciplinary violations were committed, ranging from minor offenses such as being late for school, to acts of violence which resulted in many victims among the students, in addition to the very worrying decline in their learning levels. To prevent this problem, it is necessary to hold school discipline movement activities which have actually been carried out by the school, the education department and the government, but have not been effective and efficient. Therefore, supporting activities are needed in the form of a school discipline movement campaign in the form of information media through a persuasion approach that encourages students to be aware and understand the importance of building a disciplinary attitude that is beneficial for them both during their education period and when they are adults, independent and have greater responsibilities.
This main information medium is in the form of comic books which are very familiar and fun to read among students as young teenagers, as a medium of entertainment as well as containing education that builds their souls to be disciplined as a provision for them in the future. Apart from the main media, comic books also have supporting media as reminders that strengthen the campaign message, such as media: posters, x-banners, gimmicks and other visual communication design media.

ABSTRAK
Kondisi pelajar atau siswa tingkat menengah atas terutama pada faktor penegakan disipil pada umumnya sangat memprihatinkan. Banyak pelanggaran disiplin yang dilakukan, mulai dari pelanggaran ringan seperti terlambat masuk sekolah, hingga tindakan kekerasan yang menimbulkan banyak korban diantara para siswa tersebut, selain menurunnya tingkat belajar mereka yang sangat mengkhawatirkan. Untuk mencegah masalah tersebut perlu diadakan kegiatan gerakan disiplin sekolah yang sesungguhnya telah dilakukan oleh pihak sekolah, dinas pendidikan dan pemerintah, hanya belum efektif dan efisien. Oleh karena itu perlu kegiatan penunjang atau pendukung berupa kampanye gerakan disiplin sekolah dalam bentuk media informasi melalui pendekatan persuasi yang mendorong siswa untuk sadar dan paham tentang pentingnya membangun sikap disiplin yang bermanfaat bagi dirinya baik untuk masa pendidikan ataupun ketika sudah dewasa, mandiri dan telah memegang tanggung jawab yang lebih besar.
Media informasi utama ini berupa buku komik yang sangat akrab dan menyenangkan untuk dibaca dikalangan siswa sebagai anak muda remaja, sebagai media hiburan sekaligus mengandung edukasi yang membangun jiwa mereka untuk bersikap disiplin sebagai bekal mereka kelak. Selain media utama buku komik juga ada media penunjang sebagai pengingat atau reminder yang memperkuat pesan kampane seperti media: poster, x-banner, gimmick, dan media desain komunikasi visual lainnya.
