PENGEMBANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI GEOGRAFIS UNTUK PEMETAAN WILAYAH PARIWISATA BERBASIS WEB DI KABUPATEN GARUT

A B S T R A C T
Geographic Information System is a system that is based on geographic mapping of the earth. This system can provide information about the location of areas or locations of places on the earth's surface and provide information about a location. Garut Regency has rich tourism potential with a variety of interesting destinations, including mountains, waterfalls, and hot springs. Although many tourist attractions offer unique experiences, information regarding tourist locations and facilities in this area is still limited and less organized, making it difficult for tourists to plan their trips. This research aims to help tourists and the public to easily access information about tourism areas in Garut Regency via the web. This website was developed using the Waterfall research method and Leaflet Js as a digital map. The final results were tested using functional testing User Acceptance Test obtained an average accuracy of 85% of the results of the location of tourist attractions from each point and the system can display features such as tourist data features, tourist descriptions, tourist images and regional boundaries of the research site.

Sistem Informasi Geografis adalah suatu sistem yang dibuat berdasarkan pemetaan geografis bumi. Sistem ini dapat memberikan informasi mengenai letak wilayah atau lokasi tempat-tempat yang ada di permukaan bumi dan memberikan keterangan tentang suatu lokasi. Kabupaten Garut memiliki potensi wisata yang kaya dengan beragam destinasi menarik, termasuk pegunungan, air terjun, dan pemandian air panas. Meskipun banyak tempat wisata yang menawarkan pengalaman unik, informasi mengenai lokasi dan fasilitas wisata di daerah ini masih terbatas dan kurang terorganisir, sehingga menyulitkan wisatawan dalam merencanakan perjalanan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu wisatawan dan masyarakat agar bisa dengan mudah mengakses informasi tentang wilayah pariwisata di Kabupaten Garut via web. Website ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode penelitian Waterfall dan Leaflet Js sebagai peta digital. Hasil akhir diuji dengan menggunakan pengujian fungsional dan User Acceptance Test didapatkan akurasi rata-rata 85% hasil lokasi tempat wisata dari masing-masing titik dan sistem dapat menampilkan fitur-fitur seperti fitur data wisata, deskripsi wisata, gambar wisata dan batas wilayah dari tempat penelitian tersebut.
